Getting Started
- 1. Parent A: sign in with Apple or Google → Set up your household → choose your rotation → you'll get a 6-character invite code.
- 2. Parent B: install Even, sign in, and enter the invite code from Join a household.
- 3. That's it — you're paired. The code is always available in Settings → Household if you need it again.
Frequently Asked Questions
- My co-parent's code doesn't work. Codes are 6 characters and never contain 0, O, 1, or I, to avoid mix-ups when reading them aloud. Double-check each character; codes are case-insensitive.
- I made a change but my co-parent doesn't see it. Changes sync when the app opens, comes to the foreground, or when you pull down to refresh on the Schedule screen. Both of you can also tap Sync now in Settings.
- We edited the same night at the same time. The most recent change wins, and Even warns you if a night changed since you last synced rather than overwriting silently.
- I'm not getting swap notifications. Make sure you allowed notifications when the app asked (Settings on your iPhone → Even → Notifications → Allow). The other parent must also be signed in on their device.
- How do I start over? Settings → Household → Leave Household. Note: if you leave, the other parent stays with the schedule as it is. To delete everything entirely, email us.
- How do I delete my account and data? Email casey@coparentingwithpeace.com from your account email and ask for deletion. We'll remove your account and household data and confirm when it's done.
- Is my information private? Yes — see our Privacy Policy. No ads, no analytics, no selling data. Only the two parents in your household can see your schedule.
